:Humans: - Primary Definition: Homo Sapiens

Humans - Victims? Vigilantes? Outlaws? Food? Humans in Toxian City have no magical powers, mutations, or implants. The majority of our humans are tough as nails though, they have to be to survive these streets. Some coming from military backgrounds, martial arts backgrounds, or just from the harsh mean streets of the toughest cities. Some may be running from the law, came to check out the legends, accidentally ran across Toxia, or perhaps even grew up here. Less skilled Humans may have protectors, or have bargained their protection in exchange for other things.

Using mostly make shift weapons, swords, knives, and guns as protection. You may run across the occasional human that has managed to get their hands on something enchanted and been trained to use it's powers. But for the most part, if they get their hands on one, the enchantments have no effect.

Human Physical Characteristics

There are five distinctive physical characteristics of a human being: [1] brain size: The adult human brain weighs on average about 3 lb (1.5 kg) with a size (volume) of around 1130 cm in women and 1260 cm in men.  Average brain to body weight ratio is 1:40 for humans.  [2] Erect posture and bipedalism: one of the most distinctive human characteristics is their ability to walk erect (bipedalism). [3] The human skin as a heat diffusion device. [4] The hand with its uniquely opposable thumb. [5] The face and eyes, including Jaw and teeth and the throat and the position of the larynx.  For further descriptions, also read the  René Descartes treatise written in 1647, "The Description of the Human Body" (La description du corps humain), and study The Vitruvian Man,  the world-renowned drawing created by Leonardo da Vinci circa 1487.
