For quite some time now I have wanted to have a Town Hall like meeting with the players/community to discuss different aspects of the city to help improve communication, get ideas & feedback, find solutions, address issues, and let you know you have a voice and we do listen. As a matter of fact, a lot of our guidelines have come from player input. I have been wanting to do this Town hall for well over a year now and the moment I think about it an issue pops into my head that I know will probably be addressed, so I go fix that. Get distracted with the constant flow of tasks that need to be performed, then again remember it, again remembering an issue, then off I go to fix that. Its been a cycle that seems never-ending. There are some things though that can't wait, or if they wait the city suffers. So I have decided to do a series. "Toxian Community Brown Bag Discussions" Each scheduled discussion will cover only one subject, and we will cover it thoroughly. The meetings will start out with me touching on the subject in great detail, aka why we even brought up the subject to begin with. Then afterwards we will open the floor up to the citizens for feedback, ideas, comments, questions. We hope that this series will have every faction and player on the same page at the same time. We hope we can give the community a better understanding of how everything fits together. We hope to find solutions to issues that at least please the majority. We want the community to know that without them, there is no community, and that Toxian City is a community effort and every citizen impacts the outcome. |
